"Consciousness is a twig floating atop the deep river of perception." Wow. I read your piece this morning with my coffee and you helped me put things in perspective. I've been having some trouble facing my own spirits lately and your writing always helps me.

I always feel all the feels when I read your stuff. This one, especially. Mostly laughter though. Good stuff. You had told me about the children before, but I liked reading about them better, somehow. Maybe because I could go back and check something. The words stayed the same. I miss you. See you in a couple of weeks. And, thank you for these gifts of your writing!

The images created with your words are magnetic. I am ruminating over describing dreams with words and “moving the table” . I feel like I know you better my friend and that is a gift. Gracias.

Thank you so much, Valerie. And btw, I loved your egret pic and had thought of trying to buy it from you, but I have no confidence in my visual taste. Glad it went to a good home.

I love this. And I love hearing you read it.

It was fun to read it. I don’t have a voice editor but I thought I’d just leave the stumbles in. They happen when I read live, so why not leave them?

Thank you so much. I don’t think I’ll ever have a large audience, but when people read my work and get what I’m doing, that’s enough.
